On RoloCRM, you can categorize your contact based on where they are in your sales process. Every contact that you add to the system will go through a lifecycle before convert them into a customer or they drop out.

The picture below shows a sample lifecycle for a company that sells financial products.

Every contact starts off as a LEAD. When you call a LEAD for the first time, one of three things could happen

1. You cannot reach the person. You move them to the stage - RNR (Ringing Not Reachable).

2. You talk to the person and they say they are not interested. You move them to the stage - 'NOT_INTERESTED'.

3. You talk to the person and they say they are interested. You move them to the stage - 'INTERESTED'

If the person is interested, you would ask them for documents and move them to the 'DOCS_PENDING' stage. At this point, the person does not provide documents, you would reject them and movie them to 'REJECTED'. If you get the documents, you would need to get these documents approved. So you would move the contact to 'APPROVAL_PENDING'.

If the documents are approved, you would move the contact to the 'APPROVED' stage. If the customer accepts your offer, you would move them to the 'CUSTOMER' stage.

This is just an example.

On RoloCRM, stages of the lifecycle are called 'Contact Types'. You can add Contact Types using the following instructions.

1. First click on the profile picture on the top right

2. Click on 'Contact Types'

3. Click on 'ADD'

4. Once you have finished adding all the stages you need, click on 'Save'
